Himachal Pradesh is a state in the northern part of India. Situated in the Western Himalayas, it is bordered by states of Jammu and Kashmir on the north, Punab on the west, Haryana on the southwest, Uttarakhan on the southeast, and Tibet on the east. At its southernmost point, it also touches the state of Uttar Pradesh. The state's name was coined by acharya Diwakar Dutt Sharma, one of the state's eminent Sanskrit scholars.

The predominantly mountainous region comprising the present day Himachal Pradesh has been inhabited since pre-historic times having witnessed multiple waves of human migration from other areas. Through its history, the region was mostly ruled by local kingdoms some of which accepted suzerainty of larger empires. Prior to India's independence from the British, Himachal comprised the hilly regions of Punjab Province of British India. After independence, many of the hilly territories were organized as the Chief Commissioner's province of Himachal Pradesh which later became a union territory. In 1966, hilly areas of neighboring Punjab state were merged into Himachal and it was ultimately granted full statehood in 1971.

After arrival transfer to the hotel and afternoon visit Rock Garden, Sukhana Lake, Rose Garden, Museum (Sightseeing as per time permissible). Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast drive to DHARAMSHALA. En-route visits the Chamunda Devi Temple and Brajeshwari Devi Temple, On arrival check into your hotel. Overnight at hotel in DHARAMSHALA.

Day 3: After breakfast we visit the Norbulinga Institute of Tibetan Culture that was founded by the Department of Religion and Culture to preserve Tibetan culture and visit Chinmaya Tapovan that was established by Swami Chimayanand. There is also a 9m tall Lord Hanuman image and Ram Temple. Evening is free to visit the market at Mcleodganj also known as little Lhasa. Mcleodganj is the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Visit Chintpurni Devi Temple, Jawalamukhi Devi Temple and Bagalamukhi Temple. Overnight at hotel in Dharamshala.

Day 4: Dharamshala To Dalhousie (121 Kms / Approx 4-5 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Dalhousie check in at a hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Visit Khajjiar (20 Kms / Approx 1 Hr)

After breakfast, we visit Panjpulla, Subash Bowli, and Stature Falls. Then we will take you to Khajjiar also known as mini Switzerland of Himachal Pradesh. Overnight at hotel in Dalhousie.

Day 6: Dalhousie To Amritsar (190 Kms / Approx 5-6 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to AMRITSAR. Amritsar is a city in the northwestern Indian state of Punjab, 28 kilometers from the border with Pakistan. At the center of its walled old town, the gilded Golden Temple (HARMANDIR SAHIB) is the holiest GURDWARA (religious complex) of the Sikh religion. It’s at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar tank (lake), where pilgrims bathe. Arrive Amritsar and check in at the resort/Hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight at hotel in Amritsar.

Day 7: In Amritsar – Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for half day sightseeing of Amritsar. Visit Jalianwala Bagh, Golden Temple, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, ISKCON temple. Afternoon proceed to Wagha Border. The international borderline between India and Pakistan, Wagah is always been in the news headlines of both countries. Situated in between Lahore and Amritsar, evenings in this army outpost is very charming and colourful with the "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. The pageantry and pomp, and the change of guard within a short expanse make an appealing spectacle, which grabs large gathering. The most important segment of the ceremonial parade is the bringing down of the respective flags of both countries. Tourists and the locals throng near the border to witness the ceremonial parade of the Soldiers of the two countries. When the sun sets in the horizon, the soldiers take their departure amidst the beatings of the drums and beguiles. The entire ceremony nearly takes thirty minutes. Evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight at hotel in Amritsar.

Day 8: DEPARTURE - AMRITSAR

After breakfast transfer to the airport/ Railway Station to board the onwards flights.

If due to non-availability of hotel we can offer other similar hotel category option or we will give full refund to customer with the applicable interest of bank.

• Full Balance Payment Remaining amount needs to be furnished 30 days before the travel. In case of urgent bookings, it depends on the nature of bookings. Once the payments are received, you shall be acknowledged immediately via an e-mail / Phone call.

• Invoice and Vouchers Vouchers are normally provided 3-10 days before the actual Travel.

• Cancellation/Refund Policy Cancellation of bookings and cancellation policy differs for each product or service. When you make a booking, kindly view terms & conditions of each product or service, which reflects the cancellation, refund with booking terms &conditions. Cancellation of your request may require a minimum processing time, subject to specific terms and conditions applicable to the type of product or service booked & purchased.
